WELCOME TO HBS CLUB NIGERIA
The Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria (HBSAN), was formed in 1983, by and among the Harvard Business School Alumni in Nigeria. HBSAN’s mission is to advocate the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in Business Management in Nigeria.
The Association is the official alumni group of Nigerians and resident non-Nigerians, who benefited from management education at the worlds premier institution for the training of Business Managers, the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in Cambridge Massachusetts, United States of America. The Association seeks to assist with the continued education and elevation of general management practice in our economy.
The pioneer alumni instrumental in giving birth to HBSAN included; Chief A. Adepoju (AMP 60), Dr. Richard Kramer (MBA ‘58), Dr. Micheal Omolayole (AMP 65), Apostle Hayford Alile (AMP 86), Mr. John M. Okofo (ITP 74), Chief Udochukwu Uwakaneme (MBA ‘86), Late Prof. C.N.S Nambudri (ITP 63), Dr. Ademola Banjo (AMP 42) and Lt. Col. U.O Dikko; Rtd. (AMP 87) among others. HBSAN’s inaugural year basically consisted of numerous luncheons and get together dinners, with the objective of building up its core membership among HBS alumni in Nigeria.
Then, the following year, HBSAN quickly got into serious business with the launching of the General Managers Workshop. Since then the association has recorded several successful events, which are now held at least annually and in some cases quarterly
